Remind me - what the medical definition is again?
“The loss of the ability to move.”
So perhaps it isn’t paralysis, because when I see you, I start doing laps around the sun in the opposite direction.
I find corners, walls, any place your gaze might not reach.
Yet my mind goes quiet when I’m near you - which is saying something for someone with ADHD.
My core competency is a mind that runs on a racetrack.
And when I’m away from you, it loops your face, your laugh, our conversations.
I walk away only to orbit you again, like gravity has quietly factored you into the equation.
